Adjusting Contract Settings

Find out what settings you can change on your contracts and how to do it

Written by Marco Peyfuss

Once you've deployed your contract, you can adjust a few settings as you wish. Some of these will require an on-chain interaction.

First, you will have to navigate to the contract settings page.

  1. From the contract dashboard, select a contract to get to the contract overview page.

  2. From the contract overview page, click on the Settings tab.

  3. You should arrive at a page that looks like what is shown below.

You can change the following settings:

Collection info

You can change the title, description, and external link for your collection. These are all off-chain and do not require a transaction.

Royalty Fees

You can adjust where you'd like royalties to be sent and how much royalties to charge (max 10%).

NOTE: This update won't propagate to OpenSea and you need to make sure you go to OpenSea and update this. Here's a guide from them.

Royalty Guard

You can choose to disable your Royalty Guard here. This is an irreversible decision.

For contracts deployed prior to 4/29/2026, you can change the BlockList at any point. Read more here on Enforcing Royalties.

Story Inscriptions

You can choose to enable or disable story inscriptions at any time. Read more about story inscriptions here.

Adding contract admins

You can enter in an address to add as an admin onchain. This is primarly an advanced feature and you shouldn't have to use it too much.

Admins can perform pretty much every action you can, accept for adding other admins or transferring ownership of the contract.

Removing contract admins

You can easily remove any contract admins by hitting the "x" button on any existing contracts.
