It’s a brand-new way to sell your minted 1/1 artworks on Transient.xyz—the only way to sell minted work on our platform! You can list via The Lab with flexible options like auctions or fixed prices.
What’s The Lab?
The Lab is where you deploy contracts, mint tokens, and list your 1/1 artworks for sale on Transient.xyz. It’s your hub for managing everything.
Is there a fee for listing my artwork?
Yes, there’s a 2.5% protocol fee on all 1/1 listings via The Lab. It’s automatically deducted from sales to keep Transient running and fund future improvements.
Listing Your 1/1 Artworks
How do I list my 1/1 artwork for sale?
What listing options are available?
Reserve Auction: Set a minimum reserve price for bidding.
Reserve Auction with Buy Now: Add a premium Buy Now price (toggleable) alongside the reserve.
Scheduled Auction: Set a reserve, pick a future start time, and choose a duration.
Fixed Price: Set one price for an instant sale—no bidding.
What details do I need to set for a listing?
Reserve Price: Minimum bid you’ll accept (for auctions).
Buy Now Price: Instant purchase price (if toggled).
Duration: For auctions, choose 2, 6, 12, 24, or 48 hours, or 3, 5, or 7 days.
Payout Address: The wallet that gets your sale funds.
Can I do a randomized drop for a collection of 1/1s?
Yes! Use Mint Pages to set a uniform price for a collection where collectors receive surprise artwork. Learn more here.
Why should I add a Buy-Now price to my auction?
It gives collectors two ways to buy—bidding competitively or grabbing it instantly at a premium. It’s a great way to boost interest and potentially earn more.
Managing Auctions
How do I know when my auction ends?
Reserve Auctions end when bidding stops after the reserve is met.
Scheduled Auctions end based on the duration you set (e.g., 2 hours to 7 days) from the start time.
What happens after my auction ends?
The auction needs to be settled onchain by either you (the creator) or the collector to move funds and the artwork out of escrow. Learn more here.
Can I cancel a listing if I change my mind?
Yes! Learn more here.
What happens if I cancel a listing?
It’s instantly removed from sale, and no one can buy it. If you decide to sell again later, you’ll need to create a new listing from scratch.
Settling Auctions
Who can settle an auction?
Either the creator or the collector can settle the auction after it ends.
How do I settle an auction?
Why do I need to settle an auction?
Settling moves the funds and artwork out of the auction house contract (escrow) to their rightful owners—funds to you, artwork to the collector. It’s the final step to complete the sale.
What if I don’t settle it?
The assets stay in escrow until someone (you or the collector) settles it. Settling ASAP ensures that everyone gets what’s theirs without delay.
Troubleshooting & Support
I set the wrong price—can I fix it?
If the listing’s live or upcoming, cancel it (see above) and create a new one with the right price.
My listing isn’t showing up—what’s wrong?
Double-check that you’ve minted the token and confirmed your wallet's “List for Sale” transaction. If it’s still not there, contact support.
How do I find my artwork to settle or cancel?
For settling, search the token page on Transient.xyz.
For canceling, check the “Auctions” tab in your Lab dashboard.
Where do my sale funds go?
They go to the payout address you set when listing—ensure it’s a wallet you control!
