Once your auction for a 1/1 artwork ends on Transient.xyz, it’s time to settle it. The creator or the collector can settle the auction, moving the funds and artwork out of escrow (the auction house contract) and into the right hands—funds to the creator and artwork to the collector. Here’s how it works.

Steps to Settle an Auction

  1. Find Your Token Page

    • Head to Transient.xyz and locate the artwork’s token page.

    • Search by the artwork title or the artist’s name, then click the artwork under the “Tokens” tab on the artist’s profile.

  2. Click "Settle Auction"

    • Look for the big purple “Settle Auction” button on the token page in the auction app section.

    • Click it to start the process.

  3. Confirm the Transaction

    • Your wallet will pop up, asking you to send the transaction.

    • Review and confirm it to complete the settlement.

  4. Assets Are Distributed

    • Once confirmed, the auction house contract releases everything:

      • The creator receives the funds.

      • The collector gets the artwork.

Done! The process is now complete, and your auction has been settled.
