Congratulations on deploying your first contract; here is how to mint your first token!

Creating your first token:

After you've deployed your first contract, you will be directed to the Contract Dashboard.

1. Navigate to the contract dashboard for the collection you want to mint tokens. Click one of the "create" buttons.

2. Upload your token media & add the title and description.

  • Token Title: This is the name of this specific token.

  • Description: This description will appear in the details section of supported exchanges.

  • Token Media: This is the primary work associated with your token. File types supported: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, HTML, GLB, MP4, MP3. Max size: 50 MB for images and GIFs & 300MB for MP4s.

3. To add an external link, attributes, and tags, click the "advanced" drop-down.

  • External Link: This link will appear on the item's detail page on supported exchanges like OpenSea.

  • Attributes: You can create your own attributes.

  • Tags: Similar to hashtags on Twitter, these add visibility and discoverability to supported platforms. A tag example includes "photography," "AI," and "Skulls".

4. Once everything is filled out, click "preview token."

5. Review the Media File, Title, and Description. If everything is correct, click "save draft". If you catch a type, click "revise details" & edit the token.

6. Hover over your token and select it by clicking the "check box". You now have two options: create a Mint Page or "Mint". If you're looking to list it on an external marketplace, such as MakersPlace, Foundation, SuperRare, or others, click "mint." However, if you'd like to release this via a customizable mint page, click "create mint page."

7. In this example, we assume you want to mint the token rather than list it via a Mint Page. By default, the token recipient field is filled out with your wallet address, meaning the token will be minted to that address. To change the mint recipient, paste the corresponding wallet address.

8. If everything looks correct, click "mint onchain". Mint your token by clicking "Send Transaction." We purposely made the minting process into a double confirmation.

10. Your token has been created, and you will be directed back to the contract dashboard.
