When sharing your mint page from The Lab on X (formerly Twitter), you might notice that the price displayed in the link preview (OpenGraph image) doesn't update from the pre-sale price to the public sale price. This happens because X caches the preview data, leading to outdated information being shown to your audience.

To ensure that the correct price is displayed once your mint goes public, you must manually clear X's cache for your link.

Steps to Clear X's Cache:

  1. Access the Card Validator Tool:

  2. Validate Your Mint Page URL:

    • Enter your mint page URL into the provided field.

    • Click on the "Preview Card" button.

  3. Repeat the Validation:

    • To effectively clear the cache, repeat the validation process three times over 2 minutes.

  4. Wait for the Cache to Update:

    • X may take a couple of minutes to update the cached data.

  5. Confirm the Update:

    • After waiting, share the link in a private message or use X's preview feature to ensure the price has been updated.

By following these steps, you'll ensure that the correct pricing is displayed in your OpenGraph images on X, providing clarity to potential collectors.
